The mob of folks that has successfully fled behind y'all mills at different hatches, but are intimidated by the erratic thresholds. Their numbers build and push forward as it builds with a backlog of people unwilling to gamble. They can see the tantalizing outside world ahead, and can hear the nightmare sounds behind them of things on the fritz.
