Mercier gives a nod to Merrisol as he approaches, glancing over to the airship in question, accepting the pass, "Do let me know what I owe you?" The merchant asks with a grateful nod, slipping it into his coat. Eyes travel to Ruby for a moment, "Looking a bit green, Incarnate." He says, with a concerned tilt of his head, "No need for that. If they were terribly unsafe, there wouldn't be so many." To Sidonie's question, he starts to answer, then gives himself a little laugh, "A bully question that, in Amber. But, yes, before I came here, I'd taken many trips. Must better then a ship, in good weather, I say." He gives a sad little smile, "I was thinking of what my sister might say at them."

Mercier glances about the room, "It seems your passangers would care for the more exciting of destinations. Woe, that take their poor purser and physician with them on such a scheme." Mercier issues, mostly to Maggie and Merrisol. He squints in the direction Merrisol had mentioned, stalking about to get a better view.

Ruby moves into the aisle and grips the backing of one chair as the vessel swerves towards a new heading. The engines becoming that much louder on the side that must nudge the airship. It all seems to coincide with the placement of levers and dials in reach of the Captain's hands. There's an awful lot of instrumentation, but the controls have been condensed down to steering on a horizontal plane along with altitude. Ruby peers at the instrumentation with squinty eyes. The Beggy technologies give her goosebumps, but she does take note. "These things steer like bloody whales."
