Ruby is out on the ice, as have many others of the crew, when not occupied by responsibilities. The ice resists leaving much of a trail, but little by little, as people indulge in the luxury of having a solid ocean to skate or slip across, it's rather easy to visit other ships without the need for longboats. She's wrapped up in a stormcoat and is armed with a large sledge and stands amongst a collection of augurs and other tools. During the day there was not a cloud in the sky, and it's much the same tonight.
